The Choice is PowerYourWay
From Internet service providers to location,
business owners make choices that are vital to their enterprises. Today’s competitive
energy marketplace gives business owners the opportunity to choose an energy service company
(ESCO) to supply the electricity and gas they need.
Why are these choices now available?
Until 1995, utilities
handled every aspect of energy. In today’s deregulated market, utilities either generate
energy or they transmit and distribute it
— and ESCOs are now able to buy power in
the open market and actively compete to get you as a customer.
How does energy choice work?
Many
ESCOs serve Westchester County. Con Edison has set up a program — called PowerYourWay — that
can help you contact ESCOS and compare
their offers. All you have to do to get started is visit www.poweryourway.com. No
matter what ESCO you choose Con Edison continue to deliver your energy and respond to
service emergencies.
