Nancy A. Shenker, CEO of marketing firm, theONswitch spoke to an audience of approximately 300 camp owners and staff on five different topics at this year’s prestigious American Camp Association conference in Atlantic City, March 17-20.

Shenker, who is a consultant to many camp owners and businesses in the industry, also recently produced a pre-conference webinar for exhibitors with 50+ participants and writes often on camp-related topics as well.

The topics she covered at the ACA Conference are primarily aimed at improving a camp’s bottom line but can be tailored to address any industry. “All businesses need low-cost, highly effective solutions to prosper in difficult times,” says Shenker, “And the camp industry is full of creative businesspeople willing to shake things up a bit to succeed.”

Shenker has spoken at the conference for the last three years, and “always gets consistently high marks from the audience for the practical advice she delivers in an entertaining and accessible way,” according to ACA NY Director of Professional Development, Scott Rothschild. This year Shenker addressed the following:

  • “Getting the Most Out of Trade Shows and Camp Fairs: How to Get Noticed and Grow Sales As a veteran of the trade show industry, Shenker presents trade secrets and tricks of the trade for maximizing any show or fair experience
