Westchester Business Leader of the Year Award
 Robert
P. Weisz, President and CEO of the RPW Group, was born
in Montevideo, Uruguay. Recently RPW Group has been the
purchaser of some of the largest transactions in the County;
acquiring more that $150 million in assets such as 800
Westchester Avenue, 440 Mamaroneck Avenue and 1133
Westchester Avenue. RPW Group is the umbrella organization
of several real estate holding companies currently owning in
excess of 2 million square feet of commercial space in
Westchester and Fairfield Counties, making him the largest
private owner of commercial real estate in Westchester
County. The company is a fully integrated real estate
organization providing ownership, management, construction,
and maintenance of all of its buildings.

 Jim
Sinegal and his business partner Jeff Brotman co-founded Costco
Wholesale in 1983. Prior to co-founding Costco, Jim spent almost 30
years in the retail business beginning at 18 years old while a college
student. He worked for 25 years for a discount merchandising company,
Fed Mart Corporation and its successor company The Price Club and served
as Executive Vice President of those companies. |
