    White Plains Federal Court

    report related to the housing settlement that's made national headlines of late.  

    The Astorino administration says:
    • The 2009 housing settlement was 72 percent fulfilled despite delays from court proceedings;
    • At the end of 2011, 206 housing units had been approved, 182 had secured financing, and 108 had been permitted; and
    • Westchester County has laid off six employees and abolished ten positions as a result of losing $7 million in federal funding.
