    Westchester businesses have an opportunity to learn more about New York State initiatives such as the In-State Investment Program to drive economic development and entrepreneurial ventures from New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli at an intimate breakfast hosted by The Westchester County Association (WCA) on June 4. DiNapoli will also highlight the growth of the state’s pension fund, the state budget, and opportunities available through the New York State Business Development Corporation.     “State investment in business growth is essential to boosting business and job creation in Westchester and beyond,” said Marissa Brett, WCA president. “So it’s critical for the region’s businesses to understand the opportunities for new and emerging ventures. This is a great opportunity for Westchester businesses to hear firsthand what our state officials are doing to help improve the business climate in New York.”

    The event is the WCA’s latest installment in its “Business Intel” series, designed to give the Westchester business community the chance to learn from some of the region’s most knowledgeable, influential, and strategic thinkers. Through an array of events for members and the business community at-large, Business Intel features hot topics, trends, and tips (“business intel”) from leaders in healthcare, finance, real estate, technology, and more.

    Tickets for the event are available for $10 for WCA members and $25 for non-members. The breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m. and is being held at the Empire City Casino at Yonkers Raceway, 810 Yonkers Avenue, Good Time Room—3rd floor, Yonkers, NY, 10704.
