“As the preeminent business organization in Westchester County, and one that is dedicated to improving medical care, controlling healthcare costs, and growing jobs in our $15 billion healthcare sector, the WCA is invested in helping entrepreneurs who are tackling these challenges with products that will make us healthier, keep our medical costs down, and engage patients in healthcare,” Brett added. “We hope entrepreneurs will see Westchester as a place where they can thrive and grow their companies.”
Westchester County has rapidly emerged as one of the nation’s hubs for healthcare innovation. The digital healthcare sector is being fueled in Westchester by expanding global companies such as Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and IBM; a new biotech incubator at New York Medical College; and the creation of a vibrant and growing startup community that’s been created through the WCA’s business accelerator network, conferences, and Accelerate Westchester! networking groups for innovators and entrepreneurs.
