  • Leading an Adult Conversation about Healthcare Reform

  • With Washington in the midst of a historic partisan paralysis, the Westchester County Association is stepping up to the plate by offering business' point of view in the healthcare debate...

The business community and the healthcare industry came together to begin solving our nation's healthcare crisis at 'Healthcare Reform: What You're Not Hearing in the National Debate," in September, 2011.  Sponsored by the WCA, it was agreed that a non-partisan solution is called for in both Washington and Albany.

As currently drafted, healthcare legislation will be a tremendous burden on business and leave employees with fewer choices for quality healthcare.

The Westchester County Association can also have great impact on healthcare legislation here in New York State.  Already, our Blue Ribbon Task Force on Healthcare Reform has caught big insurance overcharging business by the millions.  Due to our diligence, we were successful in having legislation passed resulting in big insurance refunding millions of dollars to business--large and small--in Westchester County and throughout New York State.
