Property Tax Reform

Contact your Legislators and let them know that you want them to come back into session and support the tax cap and the other recommendations of the Suozzi report. A sample text for an email or a letter is:

Dear (Legislator’s Name)
As a resident of Westchester County, I/we strongly urge you to return to session and pass the proposals set forth by the Suozzi Commission which calls for a 4% property tax cap for school taxes among other suggestions.

Health Care Reform

Contact your Assembly representative and let them know that you want them to approve Bill 11680A which provides for a number of reforms to the practices of for-profit health insurers in New York State including prompt payment of claims and restoration of oversight authority to the Superintendent of Insurance for premium rate increases.

Participate in the WCA Transportation Task Force - This is a task force for WCA members to explore ways to alleviate the financial pain of employees driving to and from work.
