College has named Dario A. Cortes, PhD, as President effective July 7,
2008. Currently President and Executive Director of The American School
Foundation in Mexico City, Dr. Cortes will assume responsibilities as

Rockland Revolving Loan Fund Program
The Westchester / Rockland
Revolving Loan Fund Program was established to promote small business
growth and economic development in Westchester and Rockland Counties. The
essential feature of the program is to provide financial assistance to
companies that neither qualify for conventional financing nor meet a
bank's credit guidelines.
The program is administered by the
Rockland Economic Development Corporation, and is funded via a grant
provided by Empire State Development Corporation. A loan committee which
includes representatives of lending institutions in Rockland and

Railroad Sets Record for Ridership in 2007 Carries More Than 80 Million

MTA Metro-North Railroad ridership exceeded 80 million
customers in 2007 for the first time in the railroad's 25-year history,
based on preliminary analysis of December ticket sales.
