Robert Goodman, Esq Rye Brook, NY

For attorney Robert I. Goodman, becoming a member of the Westchester County Association three years ago was instrumental to growing his diverse practice.

His pracitce provides advice and litigation support to small and mid-sized businesses and start-up enterprises and individuals in the areas of domestic and international commercial litigation, immigration law and intellectual property law.

Mr. Goodman was introduced to the WCA by a very good friend, Louise Martin-Valiquette, President of the World Trade Council. Mr. Goodman believes that immigration, which is one of his firm's major practice areas, will increasingly become the hot topic for Westchester employers.

"There's no escaping the fact that skilled foreign workers have proven to be very effective for employers and will continue to be so in the years ahead, making immigration law reform a necessity."

Mr. Goodman majored in international relations and graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Tufts University. A graduate of the Columbia University School of Law, Mr. Goodman is a member of several major law organizations including The World Trade Council, where he serves as a member of the Board of Governors. He, his wife Carol and their two children live in Rye Brook, New York.
