The Fourth Annual Women in Tech Awards Luncheon on Thursday, June 22, honored four more outstanding women who have made their mark in STEM fields. Rita Cosby, the Emmy Award-winning TV host, radio star, and bestselling author moderated the event which drew over 200 people at Tappan Hill Mansion.. As always, it was a spirited and moving event. HEALTHCARE ANALYTICS COURSE
This unique course focuses on the rich clinical and business sources of ‘Big Data’ available in the healthcare industry. Participants will learn the value of using data to make informed business decisions in the areas of operations management, planning, and strategic initiatives.Designed for healthcare managers with little-to-no experience with analytics, and will be taught by expert faculty and industry professionals in the region over a 5-week period.
Central Westchester location at 1133 Westchester Avenue in White Plains, running Wednesday nights from Feb 8 through March 8. Classes will explore specific topics such as the difficulties of managing and building data environments; the use of value-added classification systems; and the queries upon which decision support, epidemiology, and research capabilities are built.
The fee is $595 per participant for this 5-week session.

Then, we've put together a dynamic and interactive panel, "Westchester's Growth Strategy," that
will address regional trends, innovation, gigabit speed internet, and
attainable housing (read: housing for millennials and the workforce).
The panel, will be moderated by Bill Cuddy, CBRE, with panelists Moses
Gates, Regional Plan Association; Joan McDonald, WCA Strategic Advisor and former head of NYS' Department of Transportation and former Economic Development Director of the State of Connecticut;
and Seth Mandelbaum, McCullough, Goldberger & Staudt.
