Launched in November 2023, the 1,000 jobs challenge is one way in which the WCA is helping job seekers and employers in Westchester County and the Hudson Valley. By creating talent pipelines, coordinating career days and job fairs, and collaborating on grants, the WCA seeks to fill 1,000 jobs with $50 million in impact.

Less than one year in, and we’ve already filled 160 jobs with more than $10 million in impact!

WCA’s Healthcare Talent Pipeline Program (HTPP) allows healthcare providers to fill critically needed and hard to fill positions, and it also provides new opportunities to individuals who want to work in healthcare professions did not previously have the financial means to get training.
