Healthcare Energy Support

Description

With NYSERDA’s assistance, healthcare facilities can improve energy management systems, reducing overall energy cost. NYSERDA is offering 12-month energy support services for healthcare facilities interested in advancing a comprehensive energy management model. Program support includes thoroughly evaluating existing facility performance, identifying low and no-cost opportunities for energy savings, delivering impact reports, developing continuous energy management processes, and pursuing financial and technical support for larger energy projects.

How the Program Works

1. Energy Performance Model-Your Healthcare Energy Support Team will develop a custom Energy Performance Model, establishing baseline energy usage and plan energy performance over a 12-month period.
2. Kick-off Event-The healthcare team will meet, starting the 12-month energy management performance period, to review the Energy Performance Model, establish data transfer and tracking processes, conduct a facility walk-through, identify long-term goals, and review an initial list of energy saving opportunities.
3. Continuous Energy Management-Your Healthcare Energy Support Team will maintain 12-month engagement, supporting continued identification and implementation. Next steps and available programs will be provided based on energy management results.
4. Achieve Energy Savings-Your team will be assisted with prioritizing and updating energy savings and will be asked to deliver a progress report summarizing realized energy savings every three months, ensuring maximization of opportunities.

Business must be a healthcare facility.
