Dr Amler is currently the Commissioner of Health for Westchester County, New York.
Dr Amler is experienced in disaster management and has obtained the level of Certified Emergency Manager awarded through the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) through a peer-reviewed process via emergency management professionals known as the CEM Commission.
Dr Amler is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College and a Distinguished Lecturer and Senior Fellow, at the Center for Disaster Medicine at New York Medical College, School of Public Health.
