Back by popular demand, The WCA Workforce Academy is offering its previously sold-out course —Healthcare Analytics. This current course is updated to address pandemic responses and population health initiatives. It will focus on the rich clinical and business sources of ‘Big Data’ available in the healthcare industry. Students will learn the value of using data to make informed business decisions in the areas of operations management, planning, and strategic initiatives.
The course is designed for healthcare managers with little-to-no experience with analytics, and will be taught by Professor Paul Savage, current adjunct at Hofstra University and CEO of Healthcare Intelligence, LLC.
Classes will explore specific topics such as the difficulties of managing and building data environments; the use of value-added classification systems; and the queries upon which decision support, epidemiology, and research capabilities are built. Participants who complete the course will also be eligible to sit for a nationally recognized credential through the NIH: More Information Here.
This will be a virtual online program beginning Tuesday, September 22nd at 5:00 PM. The course will run for 5 consecutive Tuesdays ending October 20th.
The fee is $495 for WCA Members and $525 for Non-Members for this 5-week session and a Zoom link will be sent upon paid registration.
