White Plains, NY (May 15, 2020) – The Westchester County Association (WCA) today announced the launch of a virtual event series that will provide actionable recommendations from subject matter experts to help businesses and organizations as they prepare to relaunch their operations.

The “Best Practices for Reopening Westchester” online event series, which will support the ongoing efforts of the WCA’s Post-Pandemic Working Group (PPWG) to rebuild a stronger and more resilient economy for the region, will kick off on Wednesday, May 27th, at 2 p.m., with a panel of experts sharing recommendations on ensuring that the working environment is clean, policies and procedures are in place for screening and testing employees for COVID-19,  sufficient supplies of PPE are readily available, and that other measures are implemented to protect the health of employees.

Upcoming programs in the series will be announced soon and will feature authoritative panels of experts in real estate, technology, law, and nonprofit support services, who will share their experience and insights to help employers ensure their workplaces are prepared.

The series is a part of the WCA’s comprehensive, sustained efforts to support the region through the pandemic and beyond.

“These virtual events will be an invaluable source of information and insights that will arm business leaders with the critical information they need as they begin the process of reopening” noted WCA President & CEO Michael N. Romita.  “At the same time, our Post-Pandemic Working Group continues to meet and collaborate on initiatives that will help rebuild our region and make it stronger over the long term.”

The WCA will present the events at no charge for attendees, but pre-registration is required, and is available at Westchester.org/events.
