Description
Con Edison is partnering with local distributors to increase high-efficiency natural gas heating and water equipment to reduce overall costs for natural gas consumers.
How the Program Works
Connect with a distributor to update your heating equipment, to reduce overall maintenance costs, increase control over your natural gas consumption, save on water and sewage costs, and increase your equipment’s lifetime.
Eligibility
Directly metered commercial or industrial facilities, master and individually metered multifamily buildings, and religious and veterans organizations on residential rate codes are all eligible. Buildings must have eligible equipment installed and Con Edison natural gas service. Service class of SC-14 or gas service received through a negotiated contract are not eligible.
Building Heating Equipment:
- Boilers (≤1,000 MBtuh for commercial or industrial facilities, and ≤2,500 MBtuh for master-metered multifamily buildings)
- Furnaces (≤300 MBtuh)
- Unit heaters (151–400 MBtuh
Water Heating Equipment:
- Condensing storage
- Condensing instantaneous water heaters
- Indirect water heaters sold with high-efficiency boilers (≤300 MBtuh)
