Join us for a forward-looking conversation on how quantum technology, AI, and advanced information systems are reshaping the future of business, infrastructure, and regional economic growth.

Featuring keynote speaker Dr. Juan De Pablo of NYU — a globally recognized leader in molecular engineering and quantum innovation — this conference will bring together leaders from industry, government, healthcare, telecommunications, and academia to explore what comes next.

From the emerging information economy to the infrastructure required to support quantum advancement, attendees will gain valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges ahead. Be part of the conversation shaping Westchester’s role in the future innovation ecosystem.

Panel 1: The Emerging Information Economy
AI and advanced information technology have rapidly become operational realities shaping how government, business, and education deliver services, manage risk and allocate resources. Drawing on IBM’s own internal transformation, this panel will explore how these concepts are being harnessed to advance economic opportunity across Westchester and beyond.  Panelists will share examples of what works, what fails and what public sector leaders can adapt from private-sector experience.

Panel 2: The Infrastructure Question: Building the Quantum Backbone
AI and data centers are getting all the headlines, but what about quantum computing?  What are the use cases and what needs to be built for quantum delivery to businesses and consumers alike? What current technological barriers exist in legacy infrastructure systems and what does a quantum network architecture look like? How are data centers, fiber and wireless networks being made quantum ready? Who, what and how is capital being deployed in the quantum ecosystem?  This panel will focus on building the quantum backbone.

Panel 3: From Classroom to Career: Building the Regional Quantum-Literate WorkforceQuantum computing is no longer a future concept — innovation is already happening in our region, and the Hudson Valley has an opportunity to help lead it. Westchester County is emerging as a key player in a growing statewide quantum consortium, bringing together education, industry, and government partners to advance research and workforce development. This panel will explore what it takes to build a quantum-ready workforce, the industries and careers likely to be transformed, and the pathways that can prepare students and workers today. From K–12 education to university programs and employer partnerships, the discussion will highlight how our region can stay ahead of the curve and avoid being caught off guard, as many were with the rapid rise of AI.
