With the passage of New York’s Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act in 2019 and additional federal legislation in 2021 and 2022 – including the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) - New York State residents, businesses and communities have access to numerous new opportunities in the clean energy economy, including clean energy careers, building improvements, and rebates for businesses. NYSERDA established the Regional Clean Energy Hubs to help New Yorkers navigate and access these varied opportunities.
